This depends on the individual, their current state of health, their current signs of aging, and their particular response to the product. People who start with the full serving—and who take their complete collagen consistently every day—usually start to notice some benefit after two weeks. They will then typically notice bigger changes between the first and second month of regular usage. Sometimes it takes some people two to three full months of regular consumption before things “click” and produce visible results. It is also normal for people who take complete collagen to notice some changes before others. For example, they might notice their nails growing faster before they notice changes to their hair and skin.

It is unlikely, but given the potency of this product it is possible to experience some mild detoxification effects. Some people are not used to consuming this level and type of healthy nutrition and they experience classic detoxification symptoms such as itchy skin. If you experience any of these effects, it is best to lower your serving to one or two pills per day, and to then increase your serving size slowly as your reaction subside. When in doubt, consult a functional medicine specialist.

It’s mostly composed of type I, II, and III collagen.

Most collagen products are made from cheap raw materials—like hides, horns, and hooves—that are the cheap byproducts of large-scale cattle production in countries that do not adhere to the highest standards of quality, care, and oversight for their animal husbandry. Because these are lower-quality, inedible parts of the cow, they must be processed using harsh, high-heat methods in order to extract anything remotely digestible to humans. This results in a lower quality product made from items that you aren’t designed to eat, and which have a lot of their potential nutrients and bioavailability stripped out of them during processing.

By contrast, our product is made from edible, collage-rich tissue, as well as raw, whole bone components, sourced from 100% grass fed cattle raised and harvested in New Zealand, and processed in the U.S.A. We freeze dry our raw materials to retain as much of their nutrition as possible. The result is a nutrient-rich, bioavailable product that’s higher quality than most—if not all—other collagens.

It only has about 10-20 calories per serving.

We do not measure the amount of protein, fats, or other specific macronutrients in our products. As noted above, most other collagen products only provide low-quality, unnaturally isolated collagen peptides. This allows them to say they are giving you 10-20 grams of collagen protein. But those other products can only offer this much collagen protein because they have gone the cheap route with their product, allowing them to provide a high volume of low-quality material. We follow the opposite path and put quality first, and would rather “wow” you with our results than play the game of “who can claim to offer the most grams of protein”.

We don’t measure it. We don’t believe that it is particularly natural or effective to consume large doses of unnaturally isolated calcium. We believe that it is more effective to feed your bones with raw, whole bone components that contain all of the same nutrients as your own bones use to repair, rejuvenate, and retain their strength, structure, and health. For that reason, our product is made of 50% raw whole bone components.

Many of our cattle come from Halal operations. However, our raw ingredients are not Halal-certified because the facility that manufactures the raw ingredients is not Halal-registered. As such, we cannot claim this to be a Halal product, nor can we promise that our raw ingredients are Halal.

It does not. Our product is completely derived from 100% grass-fed cattle raised and harvested in New Zealand. Our capsules also do not have any pork, and are composed entirely of bovine gelatin.

We give each bottle an expiration date that is three years out from the day it was encapsulated and bottled. However, because our product is so pure, and because it is composed of freeze-dried raw ingredients, it is likely that the actual expiration date for each bottle is much longer than that.

Our product is primarily collagen, whole bone components, and a bovine-derived capsule. We do use silica and magnesium stearate as flow agents (these are common ingredients used to get the powder into the capsule), but the vast majority of people have no adverse reaction to them, and they are standard ingredients that are widely used as flow agents throughout much of the supplement industry.

We source all of the raw material from 100% grass-fed, grass-finished, pasture-raised cattle that were raised, harvested, and freeze dried in New Zealand— home to the highest quality cattle in the world. We perform all product manufacturing—including encapsulating and bottling—in the U.S.A.
